ATA Engineering Announces the Release of IMAT v7.4.0
Enhancements include new visualization capabilities, import/export of 64-bit binary OP4 files, and groups identifying the source file for model data
SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 1, 2019 – ATA is excited to announce the release of version 7.4.0 of the IMAT family of software products. IMAT is a MATLAB toolbox designed for test and analysis engineers who process data from a variety of sources. This release brings a number of useful new enhancements to the powerful functionality available in IMAT.
ATA is committed to providing new IMAT releases in conjunction with new MATLAB releases. ATA Engineering designed IMAT v7.4.0 to work with MATLAB R2019b as well as previous releases back to R2016b. IMAT v7.4.0 also supports Abaqus 2018 and Femap 2019.1.
Notable IMAT+FEA Upgrades:
Break your displacements down
Seeing the pieces separately can help you understand the whole picture. IMAT+FEA’s vtkplot can now display specific components of your displacement results, giving you more insight into how the structure behaves and where design changes might be needed.
Visualize deformation using arrows in VTKPLOT.
Keep the 64-bit precision your analyses need
Need high precision for optical or other analyses? IMAT+FEA has added support for importing and exporting 64-bit binary OP4 files so you can reduce numeric truncation and achieve more accurate results.
Keep better track of your model data sources
Simplify troubleshooting and documentation for your system analyses when bulk data is imported from a large number of INCLUDE files. IMAT+FEA’s readnas has added groups referencing the entity IDs associated with each of your INCLUDE files, making it easy to identify the source file for each node, element, or coordinate system.
