ATA Engineering Announces the Release of Vibrata 5.3.0

SAN DIEGO, Calif., July 14, 2026 – ATA is pleased to announce the release of version 5.3.0 of Vibrata. Vibrata is an advanced dynamic analysis software package designed to give Simcenter Femap® users powerful response analysis capabilities. Vibrata allows users to easily define, solve, and display results for the most challenging dynamic simulations and offers an easy-to-use interface and unlimited customization capabilities through its integrated MATLAB® interface. This version modernizes the underlying infrastructure, including upgrading to MATLAB Runtime 2025b and Python 3.13 for the GUI, both of which support dark desktop themes. This release also adds support for Nastran runs that retain a subset of modes using the OMODES case control card.

Vibrata v5.3.0 is ready for download at www.ata-e.com. This release brings a number of useful enhancements.

  • This version adds support for Nastran solves that retain a subset of modes using the OMODES case control. This capability provides another method, besides effective mass threshold, for users to reduce the size of the Output2 file imported into Vibrata, reducing disk space and memory use and initial processing time.
  • This version also adds support for MATLAB R2026a.
Vibrata has a new look with its support for dark themes.

    If you’re a current Vibrata customer or ATA|Suite customer with at least six tokens, there is no cost for upgrading to v5.3.0. Customers can download the latest version here.

    Vibrata 5.3.0 requires Femap 11.3.x through 2512 and MATLAB Runtime R2025b. It supports MATLAB R2023b, R2024b, R2025a, R2025b, and R2026a.
