  • Use specialized tools such as Cameo System Modeler / MagicDraw to perform system architecting, including generation of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) views to define system boundaries, decompose systems into elements, allocate functions, define structural patterns and interfaces, and balance cost, performance, and safety considerations.
  • Use specialized tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw and Jama to manage requirements for modeling, designing, analyzing, verifying, and validating activities.
  • Perform system-level performance assessments, including development of system-level models, integration of multiple analysis tools, execution of simulations, postprocessing of results, and evaluation of system performance relative to requirements.
  • Support conceptual design activities and trade studies, including identifying key design parameters and performing sensitivity studies to develop design objectives and constraints.
  • Apply design of experiments (DOE) methods to plan, conduct, analyze, and interpret controlled tests that evaluate how system outputs change in response to variations in one or more input parameters.
  • Support systems integration by identifying and managing interface requirements, validating component interoperability, and optimizing system functionality.
  • Support risk management activities by identifying, tracking, and assessing technical risks.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree or credentials from specialized courses in Systems Engineering from an accredited college/university with an excellent academic record is preferred.
