SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 21, 2026 – ATA is excited to announce the release of version 9.2.0 of the IMAT family of software products. IMAT is a MATLAB toolbox designed for test and analysis engineers who process data from a variety of sources. This release brings a number of useful new enhancements to the powerful functionality available in IMAT.
ATA is committed to providing new IMAT releases in conjunction with new MATLAB releases. ATA Engineering designed IMAT v9.2.0 to work with MATLAB R2026b as well as previous releases back to R2025a. IMAT v9.2.0 also supports Abaqus 2024 and Femap 2606.

Dark themes and test tool integration
IMAT+FEA’s recent addition, ATAViewer, continues to evolve to provide more seamless functionality and visual enhancements, with eye-pleasing dark mode support and helpful test tool integration.
For those who prefer dark themes, ATAViewer now offers the option to use dark themes for a comfortable, consistent look across GUIs. Also, ATAViewer has now been integrated into IMAT’s test tools, such as OPoly, SDOFit, and MIFODS, so you can easily access its powerful visualization capabilities from within these tools.
Averaging options at your fingertips
Adjust the type of averaging displayed without leaving ATAViewer. With this enhancement, Data At Nodes on Elements results are passed completely to ATAViewer so you can flexibly control the type of averaging used.
New test data format reader
Expand your test horizons. For users of Siemens Testlab software, IMAT now extends its convenient import capabilities to LDSF format data files, letting you import your test data time response functions as an imat_fn.
Download IMAT v9.2.0
IMAT v9.2.0 is available to any IMAT user who is current with maintenance, enhancements, and support (ME&S). There is no cost for upgrading to v9.2.0. Customers can download the latest version here. Please note that this version requires Sentinel RMS 10.0.0 or higher.
