ATA Engineering to Provide Engineering and Subject Matter Expert Support to NASA Launch Services Program (LSP) Office

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 15, 2026 – ATA Engineering, Inc., (ATA) has been awarded a one-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA), with four one-year option periods, that will allow ATA the opportunity to provide specialized engineering and subject matter expert (SME) services to NASA’s Launch Services Program (LSP) office, among other NASA-sponsored programs.

Under the BPA, ATA will have the opportunity to compete for call orders to provide independent engineering expertise in launch vehicle assessments, spacecraft integration evaluations, mission certification activities, anomaly investigations, specialized studies, and other related technical support services. ATA’s team will draw on a breadth of expertise, spanning mechanical and aerospace engineering, propulsion, materials and structural engineering, flight design, flight dynamics, thermal engineering, and systems engineering, to address critical technical challenges for the LSP office and to ensure mission success.

ATA’s history of delivering multidisciplinary analysis, design, and test engineering solutions for the majority of U.S. commercial and NASA launch vehicles dates back to the 1970s, when ATA contributed to efforts addressing vibration issues during the development of the Space Shuttle main engines. Over the past five decades, ATA has delivered engineering services to nearly every NASA center, and ATA looks forward to the opportunity to extend its longstanding support for critical mission launch requirements.
