Dr. Robert Blevins Joins ATA Engineering as Senior Technical Advisor

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 31, 2019 – ATA Engineering, Inc., announces that Dr. Robert Blevins has joined their team as a Senior Technical Advisor reporting directly to Dr. Mary Baker, Chairman and President of ATA. Dr. Blevins’ expertise is in troubleshooting flow-induced vibration issues such as those that can occur in heat exchangers. In addition, he has experience with dynamics, stress, and failure analysis in regard to vibration and sonic fatigue for other aerospace products such as aircraft engine nozzles, nacelles, and airframe components. Dr. Blevins is available to support ATA’s customers by enhancing, validating, and extending project results as well as troubleshooting product problems.

Dr. Blevins brings more than forty years of experience that both complements and expands ATA’s services and product offerings. Additionally, Dr. Blevins is an accomplished author, having published four engineering books: Flow-Induced Vibration (first edition in 1977 and second edition in 1990), Formulas for Natural Frequency and Mode Shape (1979), Applied Fluid Dynamics Handbook (1984), and Formulas for Dynamics, Acoustics, and Vibration (2016). He has also published more than forty technical papers.
