Significant time savings can be achieved when meshing symmetric CAD by reflecting the mesh in Femap. However, Femap does not reflect properties or coordinate systems associated to the mesh. This causes issues when dealing with orthotropic materials. This API reflects a mesh and associated entities to accurately model a symmetric structure.
