ATA Engineering, Inc.(ATA) is a provider of analysis and test-driven design solutions focusing on the engineering needs of major manufacturers in addressing their cost, quality, and time-to-market engineering challenges for mechanical and aerospace systems. We use advanced computer-aided engineering software to solve problems for customers in the aerospace, biomedical, automotive, entertainment, and consumer products industries.

ATA was formed as an employee-owned company through the purchase of all assets and contractual obligations of the Advanced Test and Analysis group of Structural Dynamics Research Corporation in April, 2000. Because of our many years of affiliation with SDRC, we are expert in the application of Siemens I-deas® NX software to the design, analysis, and testing of highly engineered mechanical structures, including satellites, launch vehicles, amusement park rides, and computer peripherals. We also use a wide variety of other software tools and conduct training classes in a number of disciplines including structural dynamics, thermal analysis, modal testing, model correlation, durability, and vibro-acoustics.

ATA ENGINEERING OFFICES

Headquartered in San Diego, CA, ATA also has regional offices in Los Angeles, CA, Boulder, CO, and Herndon, VA. Our regional locations allow us to provide the same level of personal support to our growing customer base in the Eastern and Rocky Mountain regions that our Western region customers enjoy.

ATA Engineering’s corporate headquarters are located 16 miles north of the San Diego International Airport and 108 miles south of the Los Angeles International Airport. Our 20,000 square foot facility includes employee offices, training and demo rooms, conference rooms, a library, and a 2,700 square-foot test laboratory and instrumentation area. The in-house computer network consists of Windows workstations and multiple dual-core UNIX servers with a variety of peripherals for information storage, printing and plotting. Software consists of a wide variety of computer-aided engineering and personal productivity tools, including Siemens I-DEAS® NX Series, Siemens NX Nastran, Siemens FEMAP®, MTS I-deas Pro, Matlab®, ABAQUS, ANSYS®, MSC.ADAMS, MSC.NASTRAN®, MSC.Patran, Network Analysis/SINDA/G©, Zona ZAERO® (for aeroelastic analysis), Cambridge Collaborative/SEAM® (Statistical Energy Analysis Modeler), and Microsoft Office®. On March 1, 2005, ATA expanded its Eastern Region operations with a move into larger facilities. The east coast offices are located at 13900 Lincoln Park Drive, Suite 320, Herndon, VA, and will help meet the increased demand for ATA's engineering services. Map
